2baba deletes divorce announcement, says account hacked

Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has unequivocally disowned an announcement about separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia.

Earlier on Sunday, a post on his page reads: “Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long…I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now, and currently filed for divorce.”

However, in a stunning reversal of circumstances, merely a fleeting few minutes after the initial post had precipitously gone viral, 2Baba attributed the divorce announcement on his Instagram page to the nefarious actions of a hacker.

2Baba issued another statement, hinting the fans that all is well.

He wrote: “My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control #onelove!”

However, some of his followers online are in doubt whether his account was truly hacked.
