My health has improved since I left office -Buhari

Former Former President Muhammadu Buhari  says his health has improved since he left office as he is no longer burdened by the challenges of governing the country.

Buhari who handed over to President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023, said governing Nigeria comes with a lot of challenges.

He was speaking  at an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Katsina.

The meeting which was convened preparation for the February 15 local government elections in Katsina State, was attended by Governor Dikko Umar Radda, former Governors Aminu Bello Masari and Ibrahim Shehu Shema, current, and former members of the National Assembly and other party chieftains.

Buhari said, “Those outside the corridors of power do not understand the complexities and difficulties facing Nigeria.

“My health has improved since leaving office. People who visited me told me I look better than before.”
