An unhealed parent is a child’s first enemy – Yomi Fabiyi

Popular Nigerian actor and activist Yomi Fabiyi has stirred conversations with his latest message to parents, stressing the impact of unresolved personal issues on their children.

In a viral Instagram post, Fabiyi expressed concern over how some parents unknowingly become their children’s enemies by engaging in deceit and manipulation for selfish interests.

He cautioned children to be mindful of such behaviour, writing:

“A child’s first enemy is an unhealed parent. Some parents are enemies of their children. They engage in terrible lies, blackmail, and dirty wickedness in their favor at the expense of their children.”
