Gbemisola Olowolafe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch, breathed her last on March 11 at the age of 63, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will endure in the hearts of many.

The President joined the grieving Olowolafe family, paying tribute to the departed as a woman of deep compassion, charity, and unwavering devotion—a pillar of strength who touched countless lives with her warmth and selflessness.

In this moment of sorrow, President Tinubu called on his longtime friend, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, to draw strength from the beautiful memories he shared with Gbemisola and the strong, loving family they built together.

He offers words of solace, urging the Olowolafe family to find comfort in faith and God’s divine promise to those in mourning:

“Death is a fate that will ultimately befall every individual. But for the people of faith, we are reminded that God will not abandon any of us when we close our eyes in perpetuity.

“May your lovely wife be ushered into the realm of eternal light, where darkness is forever banished,” the President declares.
