Jinad Habibat Adunni calls for support for Nollywood emerging stars

Nigerian actress Jinad Habibat Adunni, popularly known as Realomojinad, has called on Nollywood stakeholders to show greater support for up-and-coming actors and actresses.

In an Instagram post, Realomojinad emphasized the importance of encouraging fresh talent within the industry.

She shared her personal experience, recounting how a friend struggled to find a suitable actor for a significant movie role due to the unavailability of established stars.

“Supporting new talent in the film industry can go a long way. Honestly, getting your favorite actors for a project can be challenging,” she wrote. “A friend of mine is producing a movie and has been searching for someone to play a significant role with 30 scenes. However, many actors are either already booked or currently outside Nigeria.”

The actress further encouraged her colleagues to open doors for rising talents, suggesting that nurturing emerging performers could lead to the discovery of the next big Nollywood star.

“Let’s encourage and celebrate new faces in the industry! Who knows, we might just discover the next big star,” she added, using hashtags like #SupportNewTalent and #Nollywood.

Realomojinad also captioned her post with a passionate appeal: “For the love of God let’s support new talent please.”
