Ooni of Ife’s wife, Olori Temitope celebrates birthday with Badagry school girls

The birthday celebration of Her Regal Majesty, Ambassador Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife, His Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, was impactful this year with her outreach to add value to the lives of students of some secondary schools in Badagry, Lagos State.
The Badagry school girls were surprised to see the delegation of Her Imperial Majesty with gifts purposely packaged for their well-being and to enhance their development as women.
The outreach tagged “Celebrating HRM’s Birthday with Purpose” was in collaboration with the Divine Baba Girl Foundation.
The aim of outreach was to identify with the students with the message that “Mensuration is the pride of a girl! No girl should be left behind due to a period of poverty.”
The queen, who doubles as the Deputy Convener of the Hopesalive Initiative for Africa (HAI), ensured that sanitary pads were generously distributed to the students in their hundreds.
“The best way to celebrate my birthday this year is to reach out to these young girls and to identify with them as they grow up to become real women,” Olori Temitope stated.
The schools visited include Methodist Senior High School, Methodist Junior High School, and Ansar-ud-deen Grammer School.
Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, recipient of many awards in Nigeria, Africa, and across the globe, lives her life to bring succour to the downtrodden and put smiles on the faces of many.
She was recently named the Special Envoy and African Queen Mother of the African Diaspora Union (AFRIDU).
