Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has extended a heartwarming offer to adopt a baby girl who was abandoned by the riverside in Kogi State.
The baby, discovered crying near the Niger Bridge in the Ajaokuta area, was found by a local community leader, who also noted that baby clothes, a wrapper, and other items were left at the scene.
The community leader confirmed that the authorities would be contacted to help identify the mother, and the baby would be cared for in the meantime.
Upon seeing a video of the abandoned baby, posted online by resident Omera Ugbede Opaluwa, Uriel Oputa took to the comments section of the post to offer her support.
The reality TV star expressed her willingness to adopt the child and vowed to provide her with the best care possible. “Please let me have her. She will never go hungry,” Uriel wrote in her comment.
