Burna Boy crowned Best Overall Male Artiste at AAEA awards

Burna Boy was recently awarded as the Best Overall Male Artiste at the AAEA awards that recently took place yesterday in Nairobi, Kenya. The award was another tribute and evidence of his global status.

Other Nigerian artistes also won different awards at the Music Awards event but the African Giant, Burna Boy, took home the Big award.

Other Nigerian artists that shined bright at the awards ceremony are:

Tems: The Grammy awards winner won the award for the Best Global Female African Artist.

Wizkid’s song ‘Piece of My Heart’ won the award for the Best Afro-R&B song.

Ayra Starr won the award for Best Female Artist in West Africa.

Darkoo won the award for the Best Diasporan Act.

Seyi Vibez won the award for Best Male Artist.

Asake’s Song ‘MMS’ won the award for the Best Afro-Native Song.

Odumodu also won the award for the Best Rapper in West Africa.

Davido  won the award for Best Global Collaboration for his Collaboration with Chris Brown.

Popular African stars like Tyla, and Diamond Platnumz also shined at the awards ceremony with Tyla being awarded for two different categories.
