LASAA Commissions New Industrial Poster Cleaning Trucks
The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency has received delivery of two additional heavy duty poster cleaning trucks as part of its renewed effort to rid the city of different types of posters.
Speaking after receiving the newly acquired poster pressure trucks, the Managing Director of the Agency, Mr. George Noah expressed LASAA’s readiness to combat head-on the menace of indiscriminate pasting of posters in the state.
He stated that “this will send the right signals to all poster offenders that our agency truly means business.â€
Mr. Noah stressed further that “this new trucks with its many features and enhanced capacity will compliment the enforcement operations of the Agencyâ€.
He restated the agency’s zero tolerance for posters in the state, adding that LASAA will continue to prosecute poster offenders wherever they are apprehended.
The new poster pressure truck comes in a 24-horse power Honda Motor delivering 5.7 gallons per minute. It also comes with a heavy duty wand with 6 gallons per minute for extremely tough jobs.
The dual gun for hot and cold delivers 3 gallons per minute of pressure water.
It is designed for heavy industrial use with a special bypass system for longer run times in bypass mode.
It offers a steam combo and adjustable thermostat and also high pressure soap injection.
The delivery of this new set of poster cleaning pressure equipment is timely following the just concluded local government elections.
LASAA launched a campaign in June 2011, immediately after the general elections to “take the city back†from the menace of posters.
