Davido releases his fifth album titled ‘5ive’

Popular Afrobeats musician, Davido has released his fifth studio album named ‘5ive’. The Grammy Nominee released this project in the early hors of the 18th of April 2025 following the initial announcement of the release date.

The announcement was made formally by Davido’s labels’ psge- 30BG Official.

“officially 5 album is out on all platforms. Thank you Davido for this masterpiece” the post read.

Davido who signed a partnership with Playstation company yesterday for the PS5 game, is yet to make an official announcement on his social media pages. He had earlier revealed that he co-produced some of the tracks on the album to the delight of his fans.

The project have been receiving positive remarks and feedback from listeners since its release with some calling it ‘The greatest and best Afrobeats project yet.

Davido’s 5ive features Victoria Monet, Shansea, 450, Victony, Musa Keys, Chris Brown, Becky G, Odumodublvck, Chike, Omah lay, Tayc and Dadju.

The project has 17 tracks and is currently ranking Number 1 on the Apple Music Charts.
