Nigerian men have swag but lack romance – Tiwa Savage

Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has stirred conversation with her take on Nigerian men, stating that while they are stylish, many fall short when it comes to romance.

Speaking during an appearance on GRM Daily’s Thoughts in a Culli, the award-winning singer described Nigerian men as “swaggalicious but not romantic,” pointing out that their focus tends to lean heavily on material display rather than emotional depth.

“Nigerian men do have swag, but they are not really romantic when it comes down to it,” the mother of one remarked. “They know how to swag and splash cash, but I’m not looking for that.”
