Junior Pope’s wife marks late husband’s birthday

Jennifer Odowondo, the wife of late actor Junior Pope has shared a heartfelt post, marking her late husband’s posthumous birthday.

Jennifer shared this on her instagram page on Wednesday, what could have been Junior Pope’s 45th birthday.

While reflecting on the loss, Jennifer revealed some memories she shared with him and their three sons.

“You asked my birth date…. I asked for yours and you said the last day in the first week of May. And I said 7th??? You said, ‘Smart,’ with a clap. It’s May 7th, 2025, and I’m not celebrating you with my different birthday surprises (I doubt I missed any), not with candles and cakes, but with tears and memories and a heart that still beats in rhythm with yours” she wrote.

She also expressed her pain while asking him to keep watching over her and the kids.

“I Had A Lot In Mind To Type But At This Point, Words Fail Me. Happy 45th Birthday Our Daddy In Heaven. We Carry Your Love In Everything We Do. Keep Watching Over Us Debonair,” She wrote.

The Nollywood actor, Junior Pope died on April 10, 2024 in a boat accident.

The actor journeyed along with others to Asaba, Delta State for a movie shoot where he unfortunately lost his life.
