Social media activist, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has regained freedom after spending five days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
His release was announced on Wednesday by former presidential candidate and activist, Omoyele Sowore.
“Thanks to unrelenting efforts of all @thatverydarkman has been released from unjust detention at the @officialEFCC. He is with his ebullient lawyer, @adeyanjudeji,” Sowore stated on Twitter.
EFCC agents arrested VeryDarkMan in Abuja on Friday alongside Stephen Avuara, his friend, and in the presence of his mother.
