Mosley Targets Winner In Cotto/Margarito Bout

Shane Mosley wants his next fight to be against whoever wins the clash between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito on 3 December.

Mosley, 40, has faced both of them before, losing a unanimous decision to Cotto in 2007 and stopping Margarito in the ninth round 13 months later.

And having tasted defeat in his most recent bout against Manny Pacquiao – a loss that means he has not won since January 2009 – he is eager to bounce back in style against a celebrated opponent.

Mosley says that Andre Berto, the IBF welterweight champion and a potential fight for Britain’s Kell Brook, is also on his radar.

“That would be great if I could get the winner of Cotto-Margarito. I mean I fought both guys so it would be great to get back in the ring with either one of them. People keep talking to me about Berto, but we’ll see,” said Mosley.
