Flood Victim’s Corpse Found At Ogba

 A corpse was Friday evening found floating in a gutter on WEMPCO road/Chemiron junction in Ogba area of Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
People who gathered at the scene said the victim was swept away by flood after yesterday’s heavy rain.
Some said the victim was a woman and was swept away along with her baby at Ogba bus stop, about 300 metres away from where the bloated body was seen.
She was said to have slipped off the gutter while it was raining yesterday and could not be rescued by anyone.
The identity of the victim could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
