Real-life terror strikes at horror film screening

A tragic incident occured at a movie theater in Argentina as the ceiling of the room caved in, during an horror movie screening, almost leading to fatal loss.

The Vanguard reports that 29-year-old Fiamma Villaverde went to the cinema for a birthday celebration which took a dark turn.

Fiamma went to the cinema with her 11 year old daughter and her friend to watch a newly released horror movie: Final Destination.

Fiamma said that the movie night was meant to be a small wat to mark her birthday.

“It was my birthday, we were walking and happened upon the theatre. Since the tickets were cheaper than the rest of the week, we said, ‘Shall we?’ We went in, bought some popcorn, and went into the theatre,” She said while speaking with Infobae.

Fiamma also revealed the details of the incident, recalling how the lines between fiction and reality blurred for a moment.

“There was a really loud noise. At first, we thought it was part of the movie because we were so absorbed; but then a huge piece fell on me. It didn’t hit me in the head because I was just leaning a little over the armrest,” she said.

She also stated that a large part of the cinema’s ceiling crashed down.

Fiamma, however, bruised her knee and required medical attention.
