Music icon Drake marks major industry first

Canadian rapper Drake has officially made history by creating a new record in the music industry.

The Recording Industry Association of America announced on Wednesday that Drake became the first ever artist to earn 10 RIAA Diamond certifications.

While celebrating the rapper’s new career milestone, the RIAA declared that Drake is the most Diamond certified artist.

“Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever,” they wrote.

Drake’s new milestone has put him above Garth Brooks and Post Malone who each has nine RIAA certifications.
