Veteran Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has opened up about his youthful days when women relentlessly chased after him — even though he was married.
In a post shared on Tuesday via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Charly Boy revealed he once took suggestive, nearly unclad photos about 30 years ago, proudly showing off his physique because of the attention it attracted.
“Thirty years ago, I took some suggestive nude pictures because I knew I had a banging body, and the women no let me rest even when they all knew I was married,” he wrote.
The maverick entertainer attributed this confidence and magnetism to his late father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, whom he described as equally admired by women in his youth.
He recalled stories of his father as a young and attractive student at Achimota College in Ghana, where he reportedly drew a lot of attention from women due to his good looks and gym habits.
“Rumours had it that women no let the fine Bobo rest. He was always showing off his body ‘cos he was a gym rat too,” Charly Boy noted. “Yea! You can say, na my papa born me.”
