“[I’m] tired of transactional relationships. If I have to do something to be loved, that’s not love,” Bieber wrote.
This is not the first time Bieber has voiced such sentiments. Just weeks earlier, he posted another cryptic message emphasizing that true love is freely given, not earned.
“Love isn’t a ‘you get what you put in’ kinda thing. It’s a receiving thing. True love is freely given with no expectation,” he said in a May Instagram story.
His emotionally charged posts have sparked renewed speculation of a marital rift between him and his wife, Hailey Bieber, despite her efforts to squash divorce rumors.
In an interview with Vogue on May 20, Hailey dismissed the swirling gossip, referring to the rumors as a “mind-f*ck.
