What Illbliss said to young artists about music

Veteran Nigerian rapper and actor Tobechukwu Ejiofor, popularly known as Illbliss, has advised young artists against fully depending on their financial gain from music.

Taking to his X handle on Sunday, the rapper advised aspiring artists to have a different stream of income asides music.

Illlbliss had earlier stated this in an interview with Ayo Animashaun, a Nigerian music executive.

“A lot of artists are not making money. You say artists are making money  you can’t count ten,” he said.

He then reiterated his point on his X handle. He stated that a different source of income was important in order to keep the lights on

“Dear Upcoming….Little advise from IllBliss. Learn a skill or find a second and third hustle that will help you keep the lights on!,” he wrote.
