Why Kazim Adeoti holds Mercy Aigbe in high regard

Nigerian Filmmaker and marketer Kazim Adeoti has opened up on why he holds Mercy Aigbe in high regard.

He attributed his fondness for her to her attitude, stating that Mercy is a sincere person.

While speaking with Oyinmomo TV, Kazim recalled an incident in 2011 that endeared Mercy to him.

“What I really admire about her is her honesty and straight-forwardness; it’s something I truly respect. I remember in 2011 when she starred in a film titled Hajia Jemila. After I paid her, I was already used to people complaining that the fee was too small. But in her case, she actually came back to tell me there was leftover money,” he said.

Kazim also emphasised his admiration for Mercy, stating that she is not only beautiful but also a person of integrity.

“I was genuinely shocked. At the time, many people advised me to only work closely with men if I wanted to succeed in the industry. But I decided to give her a chance, and she completely changed my perspective. She’s not only a woman but a beautiful one at that and still, she acted with so much integrity. Honestly, I never collected that remaining money from her, and we continued working together from there”, he said.
