“Stop calling me Wizkid’s wife!” – Shola Ogudu

Shola Ogudu, the mother of Wizkid’s first child, has issued a public plea to a persistent social media follower, asking them to cease referring to her as the singer’s wife.

Ogudu took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to address the “delusional” comments, stating they are “detrimental” to her.

The incident was sparked by a follower’s recurring comment, “Iyawo Ibrahim! Every day is a holiday!” on Ogudu’s posts.

While she typically avoids addressing rumours or false claims, Ogudu emphasized that this particular issue was causing her discomfort and hindering her future.

“I’m not one to address anything, whether true or false,” Ogudu wrote in her response. “But this type of comment on every single one of my posts is actually very detrimental to me actually being ‘Iyawo Somebody’, one day.”

She further stressed her strong dislike for such remarks, adding, “Constantly commenting sh*t like this is not a good look. I actually really and truly dislike it. Let this be the last of this delusional type of comment, please. Thanks and God bless you.”
