Nigerian rapper and music producer Jude Lemfani Abaga, also known as M.I Abaga, has issued a message of hope to creatives who feel lost or misunderstood.
On his X handle on Saturday, M.I spoke about the overwhelming feelings of a creative and how it takes a toll on the individual.
He reminded creatives that they are not alone, noting the importance of being surrounded by love.
“You are a creative so you feel deeply. You think deeply. You’re incredibly emotional. When rejection, doubt, and deferred dreams weigh you down, remember, surround yourself with love,” wrote
M.I also stated that rejection is a part of the process of becoming. He encouraged them not to give up on themselves regardless of the situation.
“Find people to talk to. You’re not alone. You can heal. Don’t give up on yourself. I believe in you,” M.I wrote.
