Act fast or lose your idea to someone else – Erigga warns

Nigerian rapper and street commentator, Erigga, has shared a powerful message to inspire creatives and innovators across the country.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, the Delta-born artiste warned against the dangers of sitting too long on great ideas.

According to Erigga, when people fail to act on their creative thoughts, those ideas often manifest through someone else — not because they were stolen, but because their time had come.

“If you have an idea you’re excited about and you don’t bring it to life, it’s not uncommon for the idea to find its voice through another maker,” Erigga wrote.

“This isn’t because the other artist stole your idea, but because the idea’s time has come.”
