What to look out for in choosing a life partner – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Celebrated Nigerian author and feminist icon, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has offered powerful advice to young women on the importance of choosing a kind and supportive life partner.

Speaking at a recent event, Adichie emphasized that the quality of a woman’s life can be greatly influenced by the person she chooses to marry.

Drawing from personal experience, the award-winning writer revealed that marrying a good man made a meaningful difference in her life.

“It’s really important who you choose. Young women, choose wisely. Sometimes you can tell that the person you are with is not really a good person, but you are desperate to get married,” she said.
