The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in Osun State has declared its support for Governor Ademola Adeleke amid speculation of his possible defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The caucus made this known during a meeting held on Thursday in Osogbo.
According to Malam Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson for the governor, the PDP caucus passed a vote of confidence in Adeleke and urged him to continue consultations with all stakeholders locally and nationally. The caucus also commended the governor’s leadership style and performance in office.

The meeting was attended by members of the national and state assemblies, the state executive council, executives of the party, the Special Advisers’ Forum, the Elders Caucus, and the state chapter of ALGON leadership.
