Burna Boy opens up on reason behind not having kids

Nigerian Grammy award winning singer and songwriter Burna Boy, has opened up on why he does not want to start a family soon.

Burna referenced his busy schedule as an artist, stating that it is a major factor in his decision.

While speaking with BBC radio 1Xtra in London, Burna spoke on the importance of work-life balance. He also stated that he in not close to retiring, so starting a family will be difficult.

“I don’t want to start that on the road. I’m not planning on quitting tours anytime soon, so I don’t know where to now put that [starting a family]; find a middle ground,” he said.

Burna also expressed that the absence of kids in his life helps him focus on his career. He revealed that he is yet to take a proper holiday ever since the start of his music career.
