Nigerian Grammy award winning artist Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has made history by becoming the first African artist to perform at theĀ  FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show.

The singer delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium. Tems’ performance of her hitsong ‘love me jeje’ was witnessed by dignitaries including the president of the United States, Donald Trump.

The game ended with Chelsea defeating PSG with 3 goals to none.

Tems has already had a great 2025 with her history making performance and also becoming the first African artist to feature at the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
