Mr. Eazi breaks silence on year-long break

 Award-winning Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, Mr. Eazi, has opened up about taking an extended break from the spotlight, explaining that his year-long vacation was necessary for his mental health and emotional healing, especially following the death of his mother.

In a tweet shared earlier this week, the “Legalize” crooner revealed that he has been on holiday all year. Although he initially felt guilty for stepping away from work, he later embraced the rest as a vital step towards recovery after years of non-stop hustle.

“I’ve been on holiday all year. I started feeling guilty but then I realised I’ve been working since I was 15!! Rest is a blessing! Choplife season!” he wrote.

Close friends and fans of the artiste say the sabbatical was not only for leisure but also a time to grieve privately and process personal loss.

Mr. Eazi’s mother passed away and buried quietly early this year, an event he never publicly addressed until recently.
