BREAKING: Anambra PDP candidate, Jude Ezenwafor cheats death in assassination attempt

Jude Ezenwafor, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming Anambra State election, has narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

Ezenwafor was attacked and shot by gunmen on Friday night while he was in Wuse 2, Abuja.

He is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Abuja, where doctors are preparing to remove bullets from his body through surgery.

Speaking from his hospital bed early Saturday, Ezenwafor described the incident as a near-death experience. He said he was on his way home from an appointment when the gunmen attacked.

“I’m currently in the hospital. The doctors are making efforts to operate on me to remove the bullets,” he said.

Two other people who were with him during the attack were also shot.
