Tacha declares newfound interest in politics

Nigerian reality TV star and media personality Anita Natasha Akide, also known as Tacha, has announced her interest in political affairs

Born and bred in Port Harcourt, Tacha expressed her disappointment in the state of things in the state, declaring that it has so much untapped potential.

While speaking with Ebuka in an interview, Tacha opened up on the importance of youths being involved in politics and governance.

“When I look at other states like Abuja and Lagos, and I see how far they’ve come. And with the potential Rivers State has, they’re not trying to exploit it. It’s just very disappointing because there are so many youths, so many talents there. So many things that if the government can see light into, a lot can happen,” she noted.

She also claimed that change happens when people actively involve themselves in government activities rather that complaining from the outside.

Tacha also revealed that she is working on something but she will not disclose it till it is 70% ready.

“It is something I’m working on. I’ll have to make it 70% done before I can talk about it. Because it does not make sense granting interviews like this, talking about the government without being involved,” she said.
