Edo/Delta Cricket League: F16 Battle No Limit

Matches in the cricket season continue in the Edo/Delta League with F16 taking on No Limit Cricket Club tomorrow.

The defending champions of the league, F16, coached by Joseph Okonobo promised their opponents, No Limit, handled by Nosa Agbonwanegbe a tough game when both sides clash tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the first game of the Edo/Delta Cricket League played last weekend ended with Integrity Force beating Western Cricket Club by 39 runs. Western Cricket Club led by Cyril Musa won the toss and elected to field first.The Integrity Force recovered from losing 4 wickets for the score of 9 runs within 4 overs to finish with a total score of 145 runs all out in 30 overs.

Top scorer was Uthe Ogbimi (53 runs), who was supported by Duro Akayan with 34 runs.

The top bowler for Western was Cyril Musa with 4 wickets for 24 runs in 7 overs.

Western Cricket Club in the second half of the game scored 106 all out. Top scorer was Cyril Musa (26 runs), who looked determined to chase down the target until he was bowled by James Imanhalimi.

Top bowler for Integrity was Osasu Agbonwanegbe with 5 wickets for 29 runs in 6 overs supported by Oviawe Ighagbon with 3 wickets for 33 runs in 6 overs.
