Rock music Icon Ozzy Osbourne passes on at 76

Rock and metal music icon Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath, has passed on at the age of 76.

The news of his death was announced on Tuesday by his family on X. They expressed their deep sadness over his passing and asked for privacy during this period of mourning.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” they wrote.

Osbourne was famous for being a pioneer of heavy metal music and a notable figure in Rock music.

He performed at Birmingham’s Villa Park weeks before his death, reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates.
