What Mikel told me that changed everything – Gyokeres on Arsenal move

Viktor Gyokeres has finally revealed why he signed for Arsenal  and according to him, it all came down to a conversation with Mikel Arteta.

“I just felt that Arsenal was the right club for me,” the Swedish striker said after completing his move to the Emirates.

The 26-year-old explained that his talks with Arteta and sporting director Edu’s team made the decision a no-brainer.

“What I heard from Mikel and Andrea when I was speaking with them, and just what I’ve seen in the past years, how they’ve been playing football. That made me choose Arsenal,” Gyokeres added.

Arsenal is pushing hard for the Premier League title, and Gyokeres is expected to bring goals, strength, and a killer instinct to the Gunners’ attack.
