Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that winger Leandro Trossard picked up a muscular injury during the club’s 1-0 pre-season defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong on Thursday.

Trossard, who came on in the 68th minute, was forced off just 17 minutes later following a collision with a Spurs player. Speaking after the match, Arteta revealed: “He tried to turn and was pushed and felt something.”

Tottenham Hotspur secured a narrow 1-0 win over rivals Arsenal in a pre-season friendly match held in Hong Kong on Thursday.
