President Bola Tinubu congratulates Prince Adeniyi Oyemade, former Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry and two-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, as he clocks 70 years today (August 10).
The congratulatory message was contained in a release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga on Sunday in Abuja.
The President described Oyemade as an accomplished businessman and public servant from Ogun State.
He added that Oyemade dedicatedly represented Ikeja Constituency I in Lagos State.
During his legislative tenure, Oyemade served as Chairman of key committees, including Budget and Appropriations and Education.
The President noted that Oyemade also contributed significantly as a member of the Finance, Public Accounts, Sports and Social Development, and Mineral Resources committees.
“Your versatile leadership and results-driven approach to governance shaped critical reforms in budget planning, education, fiscal policy, and public service delivery. I commend your principled commitment to grassroots mobilisation, community development and overarching desire for national development.
“As you attain this milestone, I pray for your good health and strength, to carry on your good works,” President Tinubu said.
