David Justice breaks silence on marriage with Halle Berry

Former American baseball star David Justice has opened up on his failed marriage with Hollywood actress Halle Berry.

While speaking on the All The Smoke podcast, Justice revealed that the marriage which was dissolved in 1997 could have been saved.

He stated that although he had very little experience with relationships, he was in a fix regarding Halle’s compatibility.

Justice revealed that he wanted a more traditional woman who would cook and clean and Halle’s non-compliance made him question wanting to have kids with her.

“In my mind, I’m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean, [be] traditional. Then I’m thinking, ‘Okay, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with?’. We spent a lot of time apart… she was doing movies in this country, that country,” he said.

Justice also revealed that the union could have worked if he knew about therapy at that time.

“We honestly probably could have made it if I knew about therapy. If we knew about therapy, we probably could have made it,” he reflected.
