EPL: Crystal Palace target Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka from Brentford, according to a report by Africa Foot.

The 27-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Augsburg, is said to be a priority target for the Premier League club this summer. The Eagles are considering making a €12 million offer for the defensive midfielder.

Onyeka featured in 26 league matches for Augsburg during the 2024/2025 campaign. He has now returned to Brentford, where he has two years remaining on his current contract.

Spanish side Valencia are also monitoring the situation but are reportedly only willing to pay €7 million for the Nigeria international.

The final decision is expected to depend on Brentford’s stance, with both clubs weighing their options ahead of the transfer window deadline.
