Thomas Frank blasts Eze for choosing Arsenal over Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank has hit out after Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze turned his back on Spurs to sign for bitter rivals Arsenal.

Frank, speaking in a press conference, made it clear that Tottenham only wants players who truly desire to play for the club.

“Just to generalise and to make it very, very clear: I don’t want any players that don’t want to come to the club and wear this fantastic badge… If they don’t want to pull on this fantastic shirt… we don’t want them here,” he said.

Arsenal snatched the deal from under Tottenham’s nose, completing a £67.5 million move for the England international midfielder.

Despite the blow, Frank sounded upbeat about Spurs’ transfer business, insisting the club would still bring in fresh faces before the window closes.

On striker Richarlison, the manager also poured cold water on rumours of an exit, stressing that the Brazilian remains central to his plans this season.
