From Survival to Sweetheart: GUS contestants now married

Love found in the wild has blossomed into a home.

Two contestants who first crossed paths during the famed Gulder Ultimate Search reality show are now happily married and raising two children.

The revelation came from Olamide Omoregha, brother to the female contestant, who took to X  over the weekend to celebrate the union.

“This was a life-changing moment for my sister. She was a contestant in one of the seasons, and that was where she met her husband. They both started jungle love, married now with two kids. Thank you GUS! Social media never sharp that time,” Omoregha wrote.

He also shared a fresh snapshot of the couple on Sunday, August 24, proudly captioning it:
“Mr and Mrs Haruna. The GUS couple.”

The once grueling jungle trials may be long over, but for this couple, the ultimate prize turned out to be love itself.
