Phyna: Drama as Izzy Ogbeide ‘slaps’ Verydarkman

Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has launched a scathing attack on activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), accusing him of mishandling his feud with BBNaija star, Phyna, during her sister’s health crisis.

Recall that Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, tragically died after being hit by a Dangote truck. The incident sparked widespread sympathy for the reality TV star, but Izzy claims VDM’s public outbursts worsened her pain.

In a video shared online, Izzy alleged that VDM stirred unnecessary hatred toward Phyna by accusing her of betrayal at a time she was already battling her sister’s health struggles.

Izzy said:

“The hospital has been calling her, but because she was admitted, the drip knocked her out. Verydarkman, go close Dangote road down for Edo State. You say you go do justice after you don remove sympathy from the family. Phyna, you caused people to hate her, calling a stressed woman a betrayal.”

She further criticized VDM for seeking attention rather than showing empathy:

“Instead of you to wait for the matter to settle or not talk about it at all, you shouted ‘Phyna betrayed me,’ and turned social media upside down. Look where it ended. You should be ashamed of yourself. She don die, make dem come carry am come your house make you chop am.”
