Legendary designer Giorgio Armani is dead

Italian fashion icon Giorgio Armani is dead.

He was 91.

Armani, hailed as the face of Italian style and elegance, revolutionised men’s and women’s suits, making them sleek, modern, and timeless.

From clothes to music, sports, and even luxury hotels, the Armani empire grew into a global brand raking in over £2bn a year.

A statement on the brand’s Instagram page said Armani worked until his final days, still pouring himself into collections and future projects.

“He was indefatigable to the end,” it read.
