CAMPpro Football Club, founded in 2019 by Godfrey John Okoh, has quickly established itself as one of Abuja’s most ambitious football projects. Officially registered in 2024, the club set out with a mission to inspire excellence on and off the pitch—a goal that has steadily shaped its growth and identity.

Competing in the Nigeria National League (NLO), CAMPpro FC has become known for its emphasis on player development and strong community impact.

In the 2025 NLO season, the club finished top of its group, securing a place in the playoffs. Although they narrowly missed out on promotion, their progress marked a major milestone in their short but promising history.

The club’s player development culture has already produced success stories. Christy Ucheibe, once part of the women’s set up of the club, now plays for Sport Lisbon Benfica Women and represents Nigeria internationally.

More recently, several standout players have secured moves to higher divisions:
• Jofrank Istifanus, a winger, joined Nasarawa United FC, stepping into the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
• Ayanlola Joshua Omobolaji sealed a transfer to Kun Kalifat, who have just earned promotion from the Nigeria National League to the NPFL.
• Team Captain Godfrey Joseph also completed a move to the Nigerian top-flight, marking another success story for the club.

These transfers further demonstrate CAMPpro FC’s growing reputation as a breeding ground for top talent, with its players increasingly finding opportunities at the highest levels of Nigerian football.

The current squad continues to feature experienced names such as Sibi Gwar, a seasoned Nigerian striker with a rich career in the NPFL, and Lordson Ichull, who brings leadership and resilience to the midfield.

With Head Coach Okoh Sunday and Team Manager Gift Dada steering the team, CAMPpro FC continues to balance ambition with purpose, aspiring not only to rise through Nigeria’s football pyramid but also to serve as a beacon of hope for young footballers in Abuja and beyond.
