Tragedy hit actor Ibrahim Chatta as son dies suddenly

Popular Nigerian actor, Ibrahim Chatta is bereaved, PM News has gathered.

The 54-year-old actor announced the sad news on his Instagram page on Saturday. He did not share details about the cause of death but posted a photo of his late son with the words:

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”

After his post, many of his colleagues and fans filled the comments section with messages of condolence.

This tragedy comes just days after veteran actress Peju Ogunmola also lost her only son, Ayomikun, who died in Ibadan earlier in the week.

The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning over the two painful losses.

In June, Chatta had shared that he once lost his first child, a daughter, many years ago. He said financial hardship at the time made it difficult for him to provide proper medical care.
