Baddy of Lagos breaks silence after surgery

Quick Read

The surgery was made possible through a crowdfunding campaign spearheaded by fellow influencer Wizarab, which raised millions of naira.

Twitter influencer David Obadiah, popularly known as Baddy of Lagos, has given fans an update on his recovery following corrective leg surgery in Egypt.

The surgery was made possible through a crowdfunding campaign spearheaded by fellow influencer Wizarab, which raised millions of naira.

Afrobeats star Davido also donated ₦3 million to support the procedure.

Baddy confirmed that doctors successfully operated on his right leg but postponed the procedure on his left, explaining that his body might not be able to withstand the pain from undergoing both surgeries at once. The second operation will be scheduled after his right leg fully heals.

Recently, the social media personality unveiled his right leg without bandages, showing visible improvement compared to its condition before surgery. Although the leg remains swollen due to stitches, doctors assured him that the swelling will subside in about three weeks.

Sharing his experience, Baddy wrote:

“I just woke up because I got knocked out (sedated because of pain) after I had my dressing changed. I was bleeding a little after the surgery (which is totally normal btw) but I’m a lil better now. My right leg as you can see is still swollen because of the stitches and after 3 weeks it’ll subside but everything is perfect thanks to God.”

The influencer expressed gratitude to fans, well-wishers, and supporters who contributed to his medical journey.
