AfriCyberCore develops AgriNova.AI to cater for farmers

AfriCyberCore,  Tech-Company that is into Cyber security and building of AI enabled solutions for African businesses, has commenced development of its first product, AgriNova.AI.

The product of which the MVP (Minimum Value Product) will soon be released, according to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AfriCyberCore , Quadri Omoloju, is an Agri-tech platform that empowers farmers by allowing them to detect crop diseases, providing proper guidance and granting them access to market and resources.

Omoloju emphasizes in a recorded video of the launching that AgriNova.AI was created to strengthen food security across the African continent.

“This is not just about the technology, this is about strengthening food security across Africa and also providing opportunities which transform agricultural sector in Africa,” he says.

The CEO, who is a UK-based IT and Cybersecurity Professional, also speaks about the vision of his organization which he maintains it’s to cater to the peculiar needs of Africans and the African communities.

He says: “For too long, African businesses and communities have relied on technologies that weren’t built for us and tools that do not reflect our languages, currencies and our way of life which is why we started AfriCyberCore to provide solutions for Africans by Africans.”

Omoloju is not alone on this mission. He has assembled a team whose membership could rightly be described as a round peg in a round hole.

Among the team members is an equally UK-based legal practitioner, Samiah Shitta-Bey, who is the Legal Advisor to AfriCyberCore . Her role is to ensure that the company’s operations are essentially in compliance with extant Nigeria and other African countries’ laws and the international regulatory standards.

While highlighting her role in the organization, Shitta-Bey said: “I ensure that the groundbreaking technologies and work in Artificial Intelligence that we are bringing forth is strongly guided by legal, ethical and regulatory frameworks, thereby ensuring that our work is globally trusted and highly competitive.

“We are committed to compliance not just within Nigeria and Africa but with international regulatory frameworks as well.”

Another AfriCyberCore Team member is the company’s AI Engineer Ayoola Mujib Ayodele. He is a first class AgriEconomics graduate from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) who has since delved into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Language.

Ayoola designs and builds Artificial Intelligence (AI) system and model, smart assistance and AI automations for the outfit.

“I ensure these systems are accurate, giving reliable results that are ethical, respecting human value and are responsible. It is to ensure that they are safe, transparent and beneficial to our users,” he assured.

The organisation’s quality controller is Taiwo Adegoke, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AfriCyberCore who boasts of years of experience in sales and product management. He is on the ground to ensure that customers get real value.

Taiwo explained: “My role is to ensure that our solutions are not only innovative but also practical, scalable and aligned with the need of our clients. I handle from streamlining internal processes to driving business growth, to shaping the roadmap of our products. I focus on making sure that AfriCyberCore delivers real value to the market.

“So, ultimately my responsibility is to connect our vision with execution so that everything we build truly supports our users and help us grow.”

Kehinde Adegoke, with over a decade of experience in IT and Network Security, is another key member of the team. He’s the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the company. According to him, the organisation doesn’t just use AI, but also explores Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and Cloud innovations.
