Afrobeats heavyweight Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Baddo, has opened up about his bond with fellow superstars Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
In a candid chat with Adesope Live, the YBNL boss described the trio as his friends but jokingly called them “too troublesome,” stressing that their differences are simply part of friendship.
“Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are all my friends, but they are just too troublesome. They are cool dudes; it’s just that sometimes many people can’t align on so many things, and that’s fine,” Olamide said.
The rapper also addressed the ongoing debate around Afrobeats’ “Big 3” — often used to describe Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy. While many fans question why his name is not included, Olamide made it clear he is unbothered.
For him, the focus remains on creating music that resonates with his fans rather than chasing rankings or accolades.
Olamide, celebrated for hits such as Story for the Gods, Wo!!, and Rock, has consistently shaped the Nigerian music scene both as an artist and record label executive.
Beyond his own success, he has nurtured stars like Fireboy DML, Asake, and Adekunle Gold under the YBNL umbrella.
