Tiwa Savage finally breaks silence on her leaked tape

Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, has once again addressed the controversy surrounding her leaked s3x tape, insisting that she was not the one who made it public.

Speaking in a recent interview with American radio station Hot 97, the award-winning singer revealed that many people wrongfully accused her of deliberately releasing the video to gain sympathy and remain relevant in the industry.

Recall that in 2021, Tiwa Savage’s private tape went viral online after she refused to bow to a blackmailer’s demand for money.

The Somebody’s Son crooner described the period as one of the most traumatic experiences of her life.

“I was bashed for my s3x video. A lot of people thought I was just trying to get sympathy. Even people with platforms were horrible and blamed me. They said I leaked it myself to stay relevant.

If I were doing that intentionally, I would have used better lighting, worn lingerie, and made sure my facial expressions were on point,” she said.
