Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, on Wednesday, declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has hundred per cent of Jigawa State support ahead the 2027 presidential election.
Governor Namadi who insisted that the sterling performances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state have dwarfed opposition parties, said Jigawa residents will replicate President Tinubu’s location of tangible federal projects to the state by massively voting for him in the 2027 presidential election.
He maintained that President Tinubu’s policies and reforms remain crucial for Nigeria’s future.
Governor Namadi spoke at the state government’s Weekly Citizens’ Engagement Programme in Roni Local Government Area.
According to him, “President Tinubu has earned the trust of Nigerians through the visible changes and economic reforms implemented in just two years.”
Governor Namadi told journalists shortly after the event that his declaration reflected the will of Jigawa’s people, who remain firmly committed to the APC and President Tinubu’s leadership style.
According to him, the National Economic Council has advised President Tinubu to reinstate fertiliser and petroleum subsidies.
He described President Tinubu as a listening leader, expressing confidence that he would act accordingly in the interest of farmers and ordinary Nigerians.
Governor Namadi also welcomed over 1,600 members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who defected to the APC.
