Gov. Eno urges politicians to ‘play’ politics with humanity

Gov. Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom, has pleaded with the stakeholders of political parties in the state to not place politics over humanity.

Eno also urged the party chieftains to work towards unity and the progress of the state in spite of the political differences.

While speaking at the 38th anniversary of the state’s creation on Thursday, Eno commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts in ensuring that states do not borrow money to fund projects.

”We would continue to do our very best to unite our state in spite of our political differences. Let politics be played with a human face and let us know that after politics, we would all return as Akwa Ibomites,” he said.
